When people enjoy equal status in shared spaces, a sense of community and respectful engagement is built and our understanding of others increases. More people from diverse backgrounds participate in the shaping of their city’s future.
Join us for this 90-minute session to help think through ways we can:
- Create experiences that help foster trust among our citizens, regardless of their socioeconomic background or political affiliation.
- Brainstorm potential campaign that will help improve civic and political discourse around the importance of public spaces such as parks, libraries, and community centers.
- Engage in creative thinking around pressing issues facing our city such as homelessness and division.
Feel free to bring a friend. Light refreshments will be served.
